A Nice Day For Pink

Last week New York finally graced us with a little whisper of spring. It didn’t last long, but I definitely enjoyed what I could. Usually we think of blazers as more formal and stiff, however a favorite blazer in my closet is this casual oversized one from Michael Kors. It is extremely comfortable and can be worn with so many different things. I’ve been wearing neutrals and dark colors for so long now that I pulled out this pink sheer top from Express to help me look a little more spring-like. A touch of wardrobe humor was added with this tote gifted by Celise Designs. Crossing my fingers that more spring looks can be brought to you shortly. Until then…stay warm!

Where The Wild Things Are

This is a short and simple post for you all, but I wanted to share this outfit comprised of pieces that have all been in my closet for a little while now. I think I just felt like throwing together whatever but in the end found that I really liked this combo. It’s rare that I’m a fan of bold animal prints, which is probably why these shoes have been sitting on the shelf barely touched–no idea what I was thinking when I even bought them. However, I guess the mood was just right that day.

Prada in the Playground

You don’t realize just how much energy you had as a kid until you try repeating some of those same childhood activities years later. I absolutely love this look, and in trying to think of the best way to share it with you all, I randomly decided to fool around in a nearby park.

I think it was the MZRT x HFLA jersey tank that lead me to the basket court. And then somehow from there, I found myself struggling up the jungle gym (which I might add is much harder at 22). The jacket is new from Zara and has some great detailing on the sleeve and back. Since the outfit was very chill, I paired it with a small heeled, knee-high boot and of course the new baby to my closet–this red, vintage, oversized Prada clutch.
